THE HOUSE
Graceburn House
THe house
Graceburn House was built in the early forties by an English couple who came from Devon, England. Their site was once a part of 400 acres of beautiful orchard and market gardens, and the name Graceburn came from their family.
“I had often wondered about this place and admired the rambling gardens – it was quite run down when Patrick and I took it over but it did have a great charm about it – and there was something about how lost in time it seemed, that attracted us. We first set out to renovate and restore the house. It needed a lot of work, however we really enjoyed peeling back the layers” Brigitte Hafner
